📊 Microsoft PowerBi

The Power BI layer displays a Power BI report or dashboard directly on your digital signage screen. You provide the report's embed URL and, if the report is secured, an authorization method. Public reports need no authorization, while protected reports authenticate through Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Entra).

Secured reports need Microsoft credentials

To display a protected report, first set up a Microsoft 365 connection. See Configure Microsoft credentials.

Content fields​

  • PowerBI URL: paste the embed link of your Power BI report or dashboard. This is the URL used to render the content on screen.
  • Authorization: choose how the layer accesses the report.
    • No authorization: use this when the report is publicly accessible.
    • Azure Active Directory: use this when the report requires secure access through your Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Entra) credentials.
